Bill Staines Country folk music
For more than 40 years, Bill Staines has traveled across North America bringing to audiences his talent and love for folk music. He has recorded 26 albums. The most recent, “Old Dogs,” was released in 2007 by Red House Records. Staines’ original songs have been recorded by well-known artists such as Peter, Paul and Mary, and Nanci Griffith.
He has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows, including “A Prairie Home Companion.” Staines will perform original pieces, interspersed with country ballads and traditional folk tunes.
This concert will be held 12:10–1 p.m. in Lips Atrium (subway level, Siebens Building) The program will be broadcast live on
Mayo Clinic’s Patient/Visitor channel 10.
